Is praying the rosary biblical or Scriptural...

Image
This at times turns to be among the most controversial topics discussed in the christian world and it may end up, breaking friendships amongst otherwise discussed...  now am gonna take you through this thing slowly and relating it to the Holy scripture, and knowing that God spoke His word that stands as absolute truth to the world, we are then left without any excuses than to adhere to His word. Question: "Is praying the rosary Scriptural?" before we get to discuss anything about this image, lets get back to the roots please be kind to check this out... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Rosary Answer : While much of what the prayer of the rosary contains is scriptural, the whole second half of the “Hail Mary” and portions of the “Hail, Holy Queen” are blatantly unbiblical. While the first part of the Hail Mary is almost a direct quotation from Luke 1:28 , there is no scriptural basis for (1) praying to Mary now, (2) addressing her as “holy” Mary, or (3) c...

The "NAKED VIRGIN"

Image
2 Corinthians 11:2-3 English Standard Version (ESV) 2  For I feel a divine jealousy for you, since I betrothed you to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ. 3 But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ. Paul here is speaking directly to the church, and he refers the body of Christ to an undefiled virgin, and it’s from this text bucked up by other texts, where I derived my story “A NAKED VIRGIN”: There was a girl so beautiful, clothed in the tradition of her ancestors, everything she knew about life was living and walking a harmless life Men to her were like caterpillars wrapped in pods and freely rubbing their shoulders on hers like those harmless caterpillars in pods about to hatch out to beautiful butterflies, yet the danger she had not seen coming was an invasion of alien...

I need your answers I have some questions for you Worship Leaders. 1.What does Worship mean to you? 2. Are you an Equipper or a doer? 3.How often do you introduce a new song? 4. Do you arrange songs? Do you arrange old hymns and breathe new life into them occasionally? (We don’t do a lot of hymns) 5. Are you engaging in worship and do you connect well with people from the stage? 6.  Do you engage and connect well with people off the stage? Alright, am not gonna answer all these questions directly but am gonna tackle them using some helping stories then all you have to do is fill in the blanks. Now let's get started, this is it, there's a church or fellowship with two types of Christians;  Person A. is this christian who is well known in church, he drives everyone crazy in singing skills and everything, he's too close to the pastoral body and for your info the Senior Pastor is one his/her fans, this guy feels like everything in his spiritual l...

The Pertinent Song

Image
in Awe To sing a meaningful song. I have heard many people setting a debatable matter on choice of a song and all they argue about is how sweet the song beats can be, how groovy the melody roars the atmosphere, but one thing i have found out is the depth of a sweet song. Like a lover would analyze the beloved, she cannot stick to his outward show but relies on the beautiful, effective glamor of the mans heart. If we had to come back to the peace of music called a good worship song this would be something that would show up:  The power of the lyrics to nourishing someone's soul would count, the sweetness of the melody would follow, and the beauty of presentation would sum everything up. A singers beautiful voice well toned, an instrumentalist hyper skill to play that song and the dynamic flow of the groove and lyrics respectively.  spice pot Normally I have a belief that God is tired of an old song, that's why We see a team of guys in the old testament call...
